For the past three years I have been learning the art and somewhat soft science of photography. The science and "core" components of it came quickly to me, as I have a background in Information Technology. Much of my IT skills and background has been useful as a tangential area for my photographic interests, including serving as the Site Administrator for a photo club/forum, as well as working with the design and development of this site. By and large though, my photography skills, have been self taught through practice, trial and error, and consuming as much in the way of reading material and research I can find both in print and via the web. I would classify my own skill level as "enthusiast", with intentions of making this venue more of my "bread and butter" with time, experience, and the faith of my clientelle.
